Caoimhe Hanrahan-Lawrence is a 23-year-old non-binary lesbian writer based in Sydney. They use they/them pronouns. Caoimhe is of Wiradjuri and Irish heritage, and currently lives on Bidjigal land. Their work explores gender and sexuality, trauma, indigenous diaspora, and disability. They are currently undertaking a Bachelor of Arts at the University of New South Wales.
Caoimhe has previously been shortlisted for the 2017 edition of UNSW’s literary journal, UNSWeetened, for their short story Standing Split. They have also had work published in Tharunka, Honi Soit, and Gay Star News.
Aside from writing, Caoimhe’s interests include politics, collecting odd woodwinds, finding cheap dumpling restaurants, and the West Virginia Mothman.
